Chandi Tea Garden Viewpoint
চন্ডী চা বাগান ভিউপয়েন্ট
Travellers' two claims: the most beautiful garden view in the district and almost nobody there — 'within Chunarughat, this view is pure Kashmir scenery.' The garden's special tea (expect a 10–15 minute wait) is famous in its own right.
History & significance
A working estate in Chunarughat's tea belt near Satchari and Chaklapunji gardens; no separate recorded history, its fame is recent and traveller-driven.
How to get there
From the Chunarughat side on the Satchari route — Shaistaganj → Chunarughat local CNG ৳20/person, then a local ride to the garden. In monsoon the upper paths turn waterlogged.
Entry fee
No verified entry fee yet

Opening hours & best time

Traveller tips
Nearby curiosity: a long bridge over a dry channel that no road leads to any more.
Try the special tea — but budget the 10–15 minute wait it takes to brew.
