Lohagar Math
লোহাগড় মঠ
Chandpur's only math — in Lohagar village, Faridganj, beside the Dakatia river. Its age is fuzzy: some say 200 years, some up to 700; the three mounds are still clearly visible. The Department of Archaeology has partially restored it.
History & significance
Locals say the name comes from two zamindar brothers, Lohu and Gohor. Exactly when and by whom it was built isn't documented; even after restoration, graffiti mars the walls, some visitors lament.
How to get there
