Nalchity Boat Market
নলসিটি নৌকার হাট
Travellers call it the biggest wholesale wooden-boat market in Bangladesh. On market days the waterfront fills with hand-built boats and buyers streaming in from across the country. Prices heard on the ground: ৳3,000–3,500 for wooden boats depending on size and timber. Watching a whole market float is a sight you will not find anywhere else.

Nalchity grew rich as a river port, and the boat trade is its living heritage — though older visitors note the ornate goyna and panshi boats of the past have nearly vanished.
How to get there
