Prantik Lake
প্রান্তিক লেক
A 25-acre lake on a small hill stream — the largest lake in Bandarban by the district council's account. It is named Prantik (border) because it sits near the Bandarban–Chattogram district line. A calm spot ringed by green hills and forest; beyond boating, kayaking, a zipline and treetop adventure have been added recently.
How to get there
14 km from town at Haludia beside the Keranihat road — 35–40 minutes by car. Most visitors make it the first morning stop of the city circuit, covered by a full-day CNG reserve.
Entry fee
৳30 · traveller-reported
Recent accounts mention ৳30 per person at the gate.
Opening hours & best time
No published schedule — everyone comes in the morning, and nobody felt it needed more than 1.5 hours.
Best time
The water glitters in morning light, and the crowd is thinner then.
Traveller tips
Ask the activity rates for kayaking and the zipline before committing.
Club it with Meghla and Nilachal on one CNG to split the fare.
