Shahrasti Mazar & Three-Dome Mosque
শাহরাস্তি মাজার ও তিন গম্বুজ মসজিদ
The shrine of the Sufi saint Hazrat Shahrasti (Rasti) Rahmatullah in Shripur village, Shahrasti — with an old three-dome mosque and a large dighi beside it. An annual ors is held here. Opinions split, though: devotees come to pay respects, while one traveller wrote bluntly that there's 'nothing much to see' — hear both sides and decide.
History & significance
By local accounts the saint was born in 1238, came from Baghdad, and was a descendant of Hazrat Abdul Qadir Jilani. Hard historical corroboration wasn't found — the shrine-centred oral tradition is the main source.
