Titas River Bank
তিতাস নদীর পাড়
The Titas is Brahmanbaria's identity — the river behind the famous novel, and the town's evenings fall on its bank. By afternoon the bridge-side fills with people, the river breeze picks up, and the fish market sells the Titas's fresh catch — visitors say the town's simplest joy lives right here.
How to get there
A rickshaw from anywhere in town — the highway bridge at the town's south-eastern entrance, where the road crosses the Titas, is the main landmark. From the station, take a shared auto into town for ৳20, then a rickshaw.
