Destinations in Chapainawabganj
Chapainawabganj is Bangladesh's mango heartland, with vast orchards of Himsagar, Langra, Fazli and Gopalbhog across the district. Between May and August — peaking around June — visitors walk the orchards, meet growers and eat mangoes straight off the tree. Orchards around the district town and Kansat are the easiest to reach.

Choto Sona MosqueHistoric · Chapainawabganj, RajshahiBuilt under Sultan Alauddin Husain Shah (1493–1519), this is among the finest pre-Mughal monuments of Bengal. Its brick-and-stone structure takes its 'golden' name from domes once gilded; visitors see carved stonework, glazed tiles and fifteen original dome positions. It is the anchor sight of a Gaur-area day trip from Chapainawabganj town.

Mughal TahakhanaHistoric · Chapainawabganj, RajshahiA three-storied retreat built by Shah Shuja, son of Emperor Shah Jahan and Subahdar of Bengal, in honour of his spiritual mentor Shah Syed Niyamatullah — the name means 'cool palace'. The complex includes a hammam, a mosque and a tomb, and is protected by the Department of Archaeology. It lies close to Choto Sona Mosque, so the two are visited together.
