A two-storey, window-less modern mosque at Charporagachha union in Ramgati; per The Daily Star it is lit by natural light, letting worshippers feel monsoon rain and winter mist without getting wet or overheated. An education complex has grown around it and draws visitors from other districts.
A roughly 300-year-old zamindar house beside the Dhaka-Raipur road, about 5 km from the district headquarters. Local belief holds that Lakshmipur district was first named after the landlord Lakshmi Narayan. Worthwhile for those interested in the area naming and history.
