Baddhabhumi (Torture Cell Memorial)

A Liberation War memorial — the old torture-centre building still stands, beside a Shaheed-Minar-style monument, a small museum, war murals and the names, photos and stories of martyrs. Visitors say respect and silence are the only language here.
History & significance
In 1971 Bengalis were held and tortured in this building; the memorial preserves that history.
How to get there
Tk 50 by rickshaw from Rupatoli bus stand. From here it's a 15-minute walk to 30 Godown.
