Banshbaria Sea Beach

Banshbaria, in Sitakunda, is a quiet ~5 km beach 9 km from Sitakunda bazar. Its signature is a small footbridge over the tidal creek that cuts the beach — walking it with the sea on view. It caught on after students' photos went round in 2017.
How to get there
Get off on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway at Banshbaria Mor, then rickshaw/CNG; also reachable from Sitakunda bazar. A ferry ghat for the Sandwip service opened in 2025 (৳10 per passenger).
