Foy's Lake
ফয়েজ লেক
A hill-ringed artificial lake turned full amusement park — the first name in family outings here. Two zones: Foy's Lake Adventure Land & Paradise Valley (dry rides, boating) and Sea World water park (slides, wave pool) — about 40 rides in all. Boating the lake, many say, feels a little like Rangamati.
History & significance
In 1924 the Assam-Bengal Railway dammed a hill stream to supply its railway colony, naming the lake after their engineer Mr. Foy. Concord Group rebuilt the site as a modern amusement park in 2005.
