Destination guide
Halda River View
হালদা রিভার ভিউ
A newly popular riverside hangout by the Halda bridge on the Hathazari-Raozan edge — evening lights, food stalls, swings and shaded seats. It has become the locals' evening address. One traveller is frank: not worth a long dedicated trip — but lovely as a stop on the Rangamati road, or for people nearby. The river itself matters too: the Halda is Bangladesh's only natural carp egg-collection river.
How to get there
From Muradpur, a Hathazari-bound CNG/bus is ৳60, then ৳10 by rickshaw across the Halda; a direct CNG runs ~৳350. Any Raozan/Rangamati bus drops you by the bridge — it sits right on the Chattogram-Rangamati highway.
