Itakumari Zamindar Bari
ইটাকুমারী জমিদার বাড়ি
The old zamindar house of Itakumari Union in Pirgachha — a locally known heritage spot. Nearly two and a half centuries old, it now stands neglected, yet remains a large piece of Pirgachha's past.
History & significance
The house is reckoned to be about 230-238 years old (per a 2021 report); the zamindar family also kept a residence in Rangpur town. Lacking conservation, the building is slowly decaying — a 2025 report even described police recovering a weapon from the deserted structure.
