Tajhat Palace

One of the finest zamindar mansions of northern Bangladesh, about 6 km south-east of Rangpur city. The two-storeyed palace, built of red brick, white stone and limestone, now houses an archaeology museum with roughly 2,100 objects including old manuscripts and carvings. It served as a High Court branch from 1984 to 1991 and was declared a protected monument in 1995.

Chikli Water Park

A water park and entertainment centre on the edge of Rangpur city beside the Chikli (Titli) bil, a century-old wetland; a large Ferris wheel, water rides, a speedboat across the bil, a kids zone, a fountain and a floating restaurant make it a popular family day trip. Night lighting gives the park a completely different look after dark.
