Temples of Rangpur
রংপুরের মন্দির
A small cluster of working Hindu temples across the city — Karunamoyee Kalibari (near Paira Chattar), Dharmasabha Mandir and Smashan Kali Mandir. Visitors are welcome; at the Kalibari you can ask the priest for a puja. All three sit within 10-taka rickshaw hops of each other.
History & significance
Karunamoyee Kalibari was founded in 1298 Bangabda (about 1891-92 CE) and is the city's best-known temple. The district's registered list also names Sri Sri Kali Mandir, Gangadas Hari Mandir and Khoddapara Hari Mandir.

Start at Paira Chattar and hop temple to temple by rickshaw.
