A short ride from the noise of Rangpur city, Vinno Jogot is a vast entertainment complex set in green surroundings — founded in 2001 across nearly 100 acres, the largest amusement park and resort in northern Bangladesh. In one place you get a lake, a water park, a hands-on science park, a picnic area, a restaurant and a place to stay. Families, friend groups, big gatherings and school trips all fit right in.
How to get there
Vinno Jogot is about 10 km from Rangpur Medical Mor. Auto-rickshaws and buses both run along the Rangpur–Dinajpur–Thakurgaon highway. An auto costs ৳20 per person and takes roughly 15 minutes. Buses heading towards Teesta Barrage via Jaldhaka and Dimla use the same road. The entrance sits right beside the highway — you can't miss it.

Entry to the complex is ৳100 per person (per the park's own website); vehicles pay separately (car ৳500, microbus/auto ৳1,000, bus ৳5,000). The water park costs extra — some traveller accounts mention ৳200 for the water-park ticket, while the park's own site lists a ৳499 day package with the water park, lunch and rides. Prices change — confirm at the gate.

Best time
In winter, forget Fridays and Saturdays — the crowds are so heavy almost all week that you can barely find room to stand. If you want a quieter visit, the monsoon months see far fewer people. For the water park, pick a hot day and get there in the morning.
Traveller tips
The water park ticket is separate — keep an extra ৳200 on top of the ৳100 entry.
The science park is the highlight here — Archimedes' principle, Newton's theory and Pascal's law are all shown as working models. School kids can match what they read in textbooks with their own eyes.
The picnic area with cooking only makes sense for big groups. For a small party of two or three, order at the restaurant inside instead.
To stay overnight there's the Dream Palace resort inside — the park's own rate list starts at ৳2,000 a night (Non-AC Pool View) up to ৳6,500 for suites. Day-rest rates also exist, per the video review. Prices change — check before booking.
Crowds build up on winter weekends — arriving early gets you a good spot and a more relaxed visit.
