Parki Sea Beach
পারকী সমুদ্রসৈকত
Parki, in Anwara, is on the far bank of the Karnaphuli mouth, directly across from Patenga. A ~13 km ribbon of sand lined with casuarina trees — many call it the district's finest sunset. The MV Crystal Gold, stranded by the 2017 cyclone, still leans at one end and is a popular photo stop.
History & significance
Barasat Union Parishad has developed the spot for visitors since 2013; the ship ran aground here in Cyclone Mora (2017).
How to get there
A reserved CNG from the city runs ৳400-500 via Kalurghat Bridge — the road passes small hills and the CUFL and KAFCO plants before the beach; roughly 20-25 km from the city.
