Guava Orchards
পেয়ারা বাগান
The sea of green along the Bhimruli canals is Asia's largest guava orchard belt. The orchards have internal canals — harvesting is done from small dinghy boats, the only way in. Travellers say watching farmers fill boats with guavas has a calm you find nowhere else.
How to get there
Hire a boat from Adamkathi Bazar — the orchards and floating market are closest to this ghat, which is why travellers recommend always starting there. Boats are available hourly or on a full-day contract.
Entry fee
৳0 · traveller-reported
No separate ticket to walk or boat the orchards — the cost is the boat hire.
Opening hours & best time
Visit in daylight — mornings are best.
Best time
In guava season the trees hang heavy with fruit; even off-season the greenery barely fades, say visitors.
Traveller tips
Ask before picking guavas — most owners happily show you around.
The wooden bridge inside the orchard belt is a popular photo spot.
