Uliyabazar Piling Ghat
উলিয়াবাজার পাইলিং ঘাট
Locals nicknamed it 'Mini Cox's Bazar' — a long wooden piling platform walking out into the river at Uliyabazar, Sarishabari, 35-40 km from town. Wide water on three sides, sunsets, and boat rides past grazing chars; Jamalpur's most photogenic river spot after Bahadurabad.
History & significance
A working ghat turned attraction: the pilings were built for river trade and launches, and the spot grew famous among photographers and couples on its own. Little formal history attaches to it — the river is the story.
How to get there
Local bus or CNG from Jamalpur town toward Sarishabari; get down at Uliyabazar bazar. The ghat is a short walk from there.
