Khan Jahan Ali Bridge (Rupsa Bridge)

A 1.6 km bridge over the Rupsa River opened in 2005, known as the gateway of Khulna. The bridge ends and river ghats are a popular spot for evening views. It lies on the route toward Mongla and the Sundarbans.

Rabindra Complex, Dakkhindihi

The former residence of Beni Madhab Roy Chowdhury, Rabindranath Tagore's father-in-law, which the poet visited; the Department of Archaeology later declared it a protected site and converted it into a museum. A quiet heritage stop that works as a half-day trip from Khulna city.

Mangrove forest along a river channel in the Sundarbans, Bangladesh

Sundarbans

The world's largest mangrove forest; home of the Royal Bengal Tiger and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explored by boat through a network of creeks and channels.

Koromjol Wildlife Breeding Centre

Deer breeding centre where you can hand-feed deer, with a watchtower. Monkey troops can snatch belongings — keep a firm grip on glasses, phones and bags.

Karamjal

The main sight at the forest gateway — mangrove boardwalk and crocodile enclosure.
