Gokul Medh (Behular Basor Ghar)

An excavated stupa base about 2 km southwest of the Mahasthangarh citadel, known in folklore as Behula's bridal chamber. Excavation in 1934–36 revealed a terraced base of 172 blind cells rising in tiers, with later temple remains on top. Include it in the same half-day loop as Mahasthangarh.

Kherua Mosque

An early Mughal-era three-domed mosque completed in 1582 AD (989 AH) by Nawab Mirza Murad Khan, still in use for daily prayers. Its brick-and-stone design is simple but elegant, and its closeness to Bogura town makes it an easy add-on to a Mahasthangarh trip.

Mahasthangarh

Bangladesh's earliest urban archaeological site — the fortified city of Pundranagara, inhabited from at least the 3rd century BCE. Visitors walk the long earthen ramparts, the riverside Govinda Bhita and the site museum by the Karatoya; allow several hours. It lies about 11 km north of Bogura town on the Bogura–Rangpur highway.
